It's a.......Boy!!!!

Yes, that's right. We are very proud to announce the upcoming arrival of our second little boy. The whole family gathered around the ultrasound machine this afternoon, eagerly awaiting whether we would be adding a new girl or boy to the family. Everyone was so excited and happy to see our newest little guy. He will be joining our family sometime in the middle of September. We all can't wait to meet him in person!

New Floors

I have been wanting to get rid of our "polka dotted" carpet for a very long time. Almost as long as we have lived here, and finally this weekend we had our new flooring installed. I am so excited about it too. I love how it looks because it makes the house look bigger and cleaner!

Petting Zoo

Michelle and I took our brood (plus Madelyn) to a petting zoo outside of Shady Maple. Boy, did the kids have a good time! Emily and Madelyn were the bravest getting on and riding the camel. Everyone also got to ride the ponies. The kids had a great time feeding the llamma's and goats. We saw turtles, monkeys, emus, maccals, and a tome of other really cool animals. We even got icecream afterwards, YUM!!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all you Dads out there! Especially to Dave, you are such a great dad!! You are always making us all laugh (example above)and we love the sense of humor that you bring into our lives. Our children are so blessed to have you as their dad! I am amazed every day at what a wonderful father that you are! I love you!

Visit with Uncle Jack and Aunt Becca

We had a really good time visiting with Uncle Jack and Aunt Becca on their way up to Maine. Grandma was kind enough to host a picnic at her home and we had a great time getting to see everyone. The kids had so much fun with Uncle Jack and Becca. The two of them gave so many piggy back rides to Alicia and Emily that I am sure they were sore the next day. The girls had so much fun though. Dave and I had a wonderful time catching up with them as well as with Grandma. We don't get to see them as often as we would like, and we are so blessed to have them in our life.

Last Day of School

Alicia had her last day of kindergarten today! She has learned so many things this year and we are so proud of how well she did! We love you Alicia!
